UHF with YPWA organised Women Marathon on 2nd August’15 at Yamana Sports Complex to promote the mission “बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढाओ” started by our honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Women Marathon was done to convey the message to the society that our girls are not weak. That they exist and that they are equal stakeholders is our society. That they are strong and it’s time they make their presence felt. There were around 4000 Participants and had a gathering of around 5000 people. The flag off was done by chief guests: Shri. Sambit Patra Ji, National Spokesperson BJP, Shri Tarun Chugh Ji National Secretary BJP, Shri. Maheish Girri Ji, MP Lok Sabha, Shri. Vijender Gupta Ji, Leader of Opposition Legislative Assembly of Delhi, Shri Om Prakash Sharma Ji, MLA, Delhi Government, Harsh Malhotra Ji, Mayor, EDMC Smt. Lata Gupta Ji, Standing Committee Chairmen, EDMC. The event was covered by 17 Newspapers, 5 news channels and 13 online line news portals.
